Teenies Unit

Teenie smallThe Teenie unit is for children aged between 15 months and 2 year. It consists of 1 large playroom and children’s toilets.

This part of the nursery has a staff ratio of 1:3.

Each child receives personal encouragement to become independent and develop their understanding of numbers, letter and also pencil control.

The children each have an individual folder of their progress, including photos that their parents can view at any time.

Daily activities include: baking, art and craft, music and movement, construction, imaginative play and messy play (sand, water, flour and painting).

Areas are available for rest and sleep periods.

Plenty of outdoor play activities take place such as: football, climbing, beanbags and balancing activities.

Tweenie’s Unit

Tweenie (2) smallThe Tweenie unit is for children aged between 2 and 2 ¾ years. It consists of 2 playrooms and children’s toilets.

This part of the nursery has a staff ratio of 1:4.

Each child receives personal encouragement to become independent and develop their understanding of numbers, letter and also pencil control.

Toilet training is also encouraged at this stage and changing areas, potties and child toilet seats are all available.

The children each have an individual folder of their progress, including photos that their parents can view at any time.

Daily activities include: baking, art and craft, music and movement, construction, imaginative play and messy play (sand, water, flour and painting).

Areas are available for rest and sleep periods.
